This post poses a simple question, “Are you a Disciple?” Matthew 21: 6 expresses that a disciple is one who follows/listens/obeys/does what Jesus commands/instructs/says/directs or tells them to do. Consider, today – who have you been following? What have you become a disciple to? Ultimately, discipleship is a choice/option/decision.

Don’t feel enslaved by what you follow because you chose to follow it and you can chose not to. If you want to play follow ‘every’ leader, that will get you no where. Determine in your heart, mind & spirit that what/who you will follow is worth being faithful to.

  1. Everyone struggles. I don’t really have any tips. I think that it is important to resolve that our determination is greater than any/every distraction that is presented before us. We will all be tempted and even fall some times. Discipleship doesn’t mean that you don’t make mistakes or renege but that we then determine even the more and repent and be renewed in our mind to follow more closely/earnestly/intentionally. I think that prayer for the desire to live righteously. Also know that forgiveness is possible through the love of God, if that is who you give your allegiance to. Keep being willing to follow, fall and then follow again! Be blessed & encouraged to continue on the right path!
