Are YOU encouraged?

Here are some thoughts/quotes that I’ve constructed. Praying that you are encouraged!

  • My Rephrase of Esther 8: 5-8/ Be encouraged!!!So…I’m reading the book of Esther and I’m excited!!!Here is the scripture:

“and Esther rose and stood before the king. She said, “If it pleases the king, and if I have won his favor, and if the thing seems right before the king, and I have his approval, let an order be written to revoke the letters devised by Haman son of Hammedatha the Agagite, which he wrote giving orders to destroy the Jews who are in all the provinces of the king. For how can I bear to see the calamity that is coming on my people? Or how can I bear to see the destruction of my kindred?” Then King Ahasuerus said to Queen Esther and to the Jew Mordecai, “See, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and they have hanged him on the gallows, because he plotted to lay hands on the Jews. You may write as you please with regard to the Jews, in the name of the king, and seal it with the king’s ring; for an edict written in the name of the king and sealed with the king’s ring cannot be revoked.” Esther 8: 5-8 (NRSV).

I would like to encourage by rephrasing Esther’s/King[of kings] words,

“If it pleases the King [of kings] and I have won His favor, and if it [timing] seems right before the King [of kings] and I have His approval, let an order be [proclaimed] to revoke the [work] devised by [the enemy], which he [spoke by] giving orders to destroy [those who are called…according to the word of the King of kings.] For how can I (who am called to build up the King’s kingdom) bear to see the calamity that is [upon His (those who belong to Him)] people? Or how can I bear to see the destruction of my [brothers & sisters in Christ]?” Then the King’s response [blows my mind]. “See, I have given [what has God given?] [YOU] the [dwelling place of your enemy], and they (those who belong… to the King of kings) have [destroyed the enemy], because he plotted to [steal, kill & destroy ~John 10:10] lay hands on the [people of God]. [YOU] may [live] as you please with regard to the [body of Christ], in the name of the [King of kings], and seal it with the king’s [sacrifice] for a [proclamation] in the name of the [King of kings] and sealed with the [King’s sacrifice] cannot be revoked.” {Esther 8: 5-8} Be encouraged as YOU do what the King orders!!!

Know that even when evil attempts…the prayers of the righteous availeth much. Favor follows the faithful. Let’s try to look beyond where we are or at least believe that where we are isn’t where we shall be and move forward in Jesus’s name. Christ lived among us and went through a guilty man’s death, even in innocence, for the love of a people who aren’t willing to sacrifice a meal to fast or a tenth of our gross to tithe but who expect Him to seal our short-comings and selfish behavior with His sacrifice. Let’s begin to give our ALL as Christ did and then those who set out to destroy us won’t prosper because we are encouraged in following the King orders simply because a reward is before us – to be called children of the only living God. Let’s ‘follow’ Esther and try to please the KING.

    Be blessed!

  • Know that when clarity seems foreign and some of the aspects of life feel uncertain – keep your head up and LOOK UP to Heaven because it’s ABOVE it ALL. When you are stressed and confused, know that your help comes from ABOVE. Keep smiling!
  • The healing to your heart is a process. You must go through it. You  have to be ready to let go of the hurt so that healing can fill the void that is left.
  • You are forgiven and in God’s eyes it’s forgotten!
  • Concerning Prayer: God listens to us, why not return a listening ear?
  • When you need someone’s shoulder to lean/cry on; know that you need God more.
  • Rely on HIM fully because He’s faithful!  [Romans 8:28/2 Corinthians 12:9-10]
  • STOP fighting HIS battles.

You are a warrior; fight like one

You are a queen/king; live like one

You are a blessing; let God bless you as you’ve blessed others
